Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted any goodies for you lately. So much going on here. First I lost my job due to state budget cuts and then hubby went to Wisconsin for a new job and found out his blood pressure is way too high so he had to come home and go to the doctor. He's on pills now so hopefully it will start to go down. Been busy planting the gardens and hanging out with the boys, and seeing the grandbabies, who are getting so big and busy now...lol

I've decided to throw some of the papers I've made recently into a zip file to pass on to those of you who might have a use for them. These papers can be colorized for different personalized effects as the preview shows. I'm sorry they are for personal use only. When I say personal use that means you can do anything you want with them except for sell them in any form. You can colorize them and add them to a scrapkit you are making if you like as long as you are giving the scrapkit away without a fee. You can use them for web pages, templates or whatever as long as you aren't selling them in any way. I hope that is clear enough as I often get mailed questions asking if someone can use my items for these things. So the answer is yes personal use of my products includes everything you are not profiting from.

Hope eveyone has had a great weekend! I was hoping for it to be a nice warm sunny one but the weatherman decided it wasn't to be. Ack I had a good weekend anyway with visiting mom yesterday and playing with my twin grandbabies this morning. The boys, I call my twelve and fourteen year old, were in and out of the house and like most weekends managed to keep things lively enough.

I'm back online and trying to get my new computer set up and working properly. Since its a totally new system its going to take some time and I lost alot of programs that I need to reinstall etc. so not sure when I will get a new kit up. I lost the last couple I was working on when my computer went down so we'll have to see how it goes.

Hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas!~ I know I sure did...I've been on vacation from work and my mom came to stay with us for a few days so I've really enjoyed it. Kids were excited by everything Santa left them and I got to spend some time with the grandbabies. Now that Christmas is behind us I thought I would make a general scrapkit...then it dawned on me that Valentines Day is just around the corner now and it kind of turned into a love set. Well I'm back with a new kit. Probably rushing things but I wanted to do something different and figured since New Years Eve follows right on the heels of Christmas it wouldn't hurt to do a New Year Kit. This kit have 10 papers and 40 elements. The papers and elements are in two seperate downloads so you can grab one without the other if you like. I tried to include a variety of New Year items to you will find a couple of frames, a New Year Hour Glass, a couple of clocks ready to strike midnight, Party favors including poppers and noisemakers, Champagne glasses and a champagne bottle in a bucket, various party hats, tags, bows flowers, an invite and envelope to match....whew...thats alot of elements and I had a blast creating them! Thought it was my computer but I finally got it figured out. Happy Saturday everyone! I've been busy working on a new taggers kit for you all to try out. This kit has ten rich papers and a whopping forty five elements to it!!!

I really hope you like this one. I noticed that many people still wanted more blue kits and brown was pretty popular too so I combined the two and came up with this kit I named Winter Memories. I've made a new kit. It started with the little girl in red and then just went from there. I included two little girls in the kit...one with the doll and one without or you can use the elements with a tube of your own. Its a cold rainy morning here in Northern Michigan and I've taken some time out between doing dishes, sweeping and straightening up to make a new scrapkit. I've named this one Shades of Sage for obvious reasons. Winter Fun Tutorial

This tut was written by Amy in Paint Shop Pro 7 on November 7, 2008. Any similarity to another tut is purely a coincidence.

I used the fantastic artwork of Suzanne Woolcott in this tut. You can purchase her tubes HERE.

Supplies, Paintshop pro 7 but will probably work in any version of paint shop pro. Winter fun scrapkit HERE. Mask Here. I don't know who made the mask. If you did please let me know so I can credit you for it or remove it, whichever you wish. Thank you!Window made by me. you can download Here.

Open a new image in Paint shop pro. Flood fill it white. Add Any of the papers supplied in the winter fun kit as a new layer. Add the mask.Merge all. Open new image in Paint shop pro. Flood fill white. Copy and paste the merged mask image to it as new layer. Go to Filters Unlimited 2. Click on the Edges Square in navigation. I chose the last option. You can choose which ever one you like. Use the deformation tool to resize this layer.

Open the Window made by me. Copy and paste as a new layer onto the background as I did in my tag. Using the Selection tool trace the outside of the window frame. Go to layers and click on the layer beneath the window. It should be layer 2. Flood fill wite or whatever colour you would like your scenery to be. Open the winter fun scrapkit I supplied and add your back ground by using the deformation tool to resize as needed. I used the igloo, the moose and the bird. You can use whatever you like for your back ground.Go to selections and click on Select NONE.

Go back to the top layer. You should now have the scenery in your window.
Copy and paste the cup and use the deformation tool to resize it to fit in the window frame. Add the tree and use the deformation tool to get it the size you would like it to be. You can add dropshadows to all of none of the peices if you like. I added to most of them.
I used the gingerbread man, a snowflake and the candy to decorate the tree. You can use whatever you like to decorate yours resizing as you go. If you resize can then copy and paste as a new layer it is easier than resizing each layer. You can use the deformation tool to turn the peices so they don't look the same.

I added a bow, the heart ribbons with snowflakes dangling from them (I cut off the pointy part of the upper part of the heart by using the selection tool or you can erase if you like.)And the snow globe, I did add a drop shadow to this. I added the sled and then I chose two tubes to complete my tag. Add the copyright and you are done.

*In case you have two tubes facing the same direction and want them to face each other as I did..all you have to do is add new raster layer, add your tube, then go to image Mirror to change the direction. You can use the mover tool to move it where ever you like. I hope you enjoyed my easy peasy tut and thank you for trying it.

BCA Tag

I made this tag just now..It was very easy to make using my BCA scrapkit.

I used the wonderful artwork of Ismael Rac. He is a pay to use artist and you can purchase his tubes from MPT!

All you have to do is download and open the kit. Open a white back ground layer 600x600. Add the frame first.

Using the magic wand select the entire inside of the frame. Find the tube of your choice and place it inside the selection. Deselect and add a drop shadow. I used verticle 1, Horizontal 1, Opacity 30, blur 14, and black.

Click with the magic wand on the ribbon on the frame and add a drop shadow.

Next Add the ribbon to the corner by copying and pasting as new layer. Resize it using the deformation tool. Select your eraser tool and erase the edge to make it look like its hanging on the corner of the frame. Add a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the tag onto the opposite side of the frame. Again resize and add a drop shadow. Using the selection tool set to circle add a little tiny circle near the center top of the tag. When you get it as you like flood fill white and add a drop shadow.

Select the little tags you would like to use. Copy and paste as new layers, resize, place strategically and add drop shadows. Add the Flower tube last as shown on the tag. Add the correct copyright and you name and you are finished.

I'm sorry some of you are still having trouble downloading this kit. I don't know why this has happened with both download sites with this same kit....and I know this can be frustrating and disappointing because I have had it happen to me many times trying to download as well. It's not like it's something I can control unfortunately! Most of you who have send me messages here, in my email, on 4shared in my groups have been wonderful and understanding of the situation. I'm so sorry to hear that some of you are having problems grabbing my kits due to download limits. When you can't get what you're after without having to keep coming back to try again when the server isn't busy it can be a pain...so I've downloaded my files to another server as well so hopefully if one is full at the moment you will still be able to grab the kit from the other. I found one but that was it, other than the pay to use kits. I decided this might be for one of two reasons. It seems only fitting that during the month of October, I should make a breast cancer awareness kit. Especially in light of the fact that my very bestest friend in the entire world lost her seven year battle with breast cancer just two years ago. What to make though that might be a bit different than the usual kits seemed to be a big question to me and I think I finally figured it out. This kit is designed for my dear friend Dianne who despite the terrible days seemed to talk openly about her breast cancer...even to strangers who sometimes didn't care to hear about it. She would add a dash of humour to the situation no matter how bleak things were so this kit is truely represents her...her life, her humour and her desire to get the message across. I hope you like it!

I made a brand new scrap called Girls Night Out. It's loaded with goodies for you to snag! Three previews and one easy download. This kit contains six tagger size papers and 43 elements. My biggest kit yet and I like the way this one turned out. The pieces look so much better then they appear in the preview. I started my very first blog..I have no clue what I'm doing here but I hope to learn and once I do, I hope to make it a fantastic adventure for everyone who visits!!!
What do I plan to do here? I plan to post my tuts and links to my psp resources. I am completely new to all this so bear with me. I think we'll be in for a wild ride once I get going though.

I've made my first few scrapkits I'll feature here and wrote my first several tuts. I just need to find enough hours in a day to get it all figured out and set up now..lol
